___________________________________________________________________After months of training, the famous Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2008 was flagged off on 7 Dec 08. Traces of E9000 can be found in almost every races.
Our running Master Simon started off with the Full Marathon at 5.30am, where a total of 11030 runners participate.
Then the guys, Phang, Nick & Kengwee, headed by Martin, started the 10km (Men) Marathon at 7.30am, which has a total of 7669 runners.
Followed by the ladies, Liping, Joanna & Michelle, led by Wenfeng, began their 10km (Women) Marathon at 8.15am, which has a total of 7727 runners.
Below are the results of the E9000 runners:
Rank Name - Individual Timing
2291 Simon - 4:57:21
2458 Martin - 1:03:43
2935 Phang - 1:09:21
3017 Nicholas - 1:04:42
3624 Kengwee - 1:10:49
1861 Wenfeng - 1:18:17
2852 Liping - 1:24:00
4591 Joanna - 1:33:59
4596 Michelle - 1:34:01
The ranking only means the individual's position to reach the endpoint, and not the ranking in terms of timing, because the individual may start off later due to the massive number of participants in each race. That's why they call it "Running your own race".
In all, as commented by our personal instructor Simon," You guys got pretty good timing." I believe everyone had fun!
Unfortunately, Angie was unable to turn up as she had to be overseas. Nonetheless, there's always next year!
Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009 - 21km (Men) & (Women). Any takers?

Ya pretty good finishing time.
Well said also that say 'run you own race'.
I have made it my last run in my life, after joining Full, Half and 10km this year. So E9er, any taker? To complete the categories :D
